Tha an còmhlan ùr 'son 2024, ach tha iad uile air a bhith an sàs ann am Mòdan,Fèisean, Fèisean ciùil an leithid Magnitude, agus tòrr a bharrachd. Eadar buill an còmhlan tha againn 2 ceum cèol, 40+ bliadhna a' stiùreadh adhradh, alumnus bho Sgòil Chiùil na Gàidhealtachd, agus trì fear a bha anns na farpaisean crìochnachadh Bonn Òr a' Chomunn! The band is brand new for 2024 but their experience goes far and wide, incuding Mòds, Fèisean, Christian and Secular festivals including Magnitude, and much more. Within the group we have 2 music degrees, 40+ combined years of worship leading, a Sgòil Chiùil na Gàidhealtachd alumnus, and 3 Mòd Gold medal finalists! The members are: Fergus Munro, Peter Macpherson, William MacSween, Calum MacAskill, Cameron Maudsley and Megan Heggie.

Am Pròiseact // The Project

'S i is crìoch àraidh do' n duine, Dia a glòrachadh agus a mhealtainn gu siorraidh'

Tha Glòraich ann gus goireasan ceòl adhradh a chruthachadh ann an Gàidhlig airson an latha an-diugh. Tha sinn stèidhichte air dualchas; tha sinn a feuchainn gus ath-bheothachadh a thoirt do na h-òrain is laoidhean sònraichte a th' againn anns a' Ghàidhlig a chaidh a mach a chleachdadh, fiùs anns na h-eaglaisean. Ach tha fuaim a chòmhlan a tighinn a-mach as a' chultar beartach de cheòl traidiseanta is ceòl adhradh a th' againn ann an Alba 's an latha-an-diugh. Tha sinn cuideachd an dòchas ceòl-adhradh Gàidhealach a thaisbeanadh do luchd-ionnsachaidh is daoine aig nach eil Gàidhlig.

'Man's chief end is to enjoy God, and to glorify Him forever'.

Glòraich exists to create Christian worship resources for contemporary Gaelic speakers. We are founded on tradition; we hope to revive some of the wonderful songs and hymns which have fallen out of use even in churches. But the band's sound is very much based in the rich contemporary culture of Folk and Worship music which exists in Scotland today. We also hope this project will provide access to Gaelic worship music for learners and non Gaelic speakers.
